La Renaissance Suite
Renaissance splendor adorns this extraordinary suite with its stone floors, walk-in fireplace, and high vaulted ceiling with curved rafters and beams built using inverted ship hull techniques commonly used during the Renaissance. The large living area includes a library, a private modern kitchen with laundry facilities, and a private full bathroom. In the tower and adjacent to the mezzanine is the charming and famous Poet's Room where Charles Dovalle wrote his poetry. The Poet's room has a single bed, a fireplace, and a view of the valley, castle, and Thouet river.
La Tourelle
Climb the beautiful 15th-century staircase and discover La Tourelle. You will be delighted by the exceptional view that the living room and terrace offer you of gardens "à la” and the Vallee du Thouet. Rejuvenate by strolling through the flowered alleys or around the lily pool.
The Space
La Tourelle offers Three luxury bedrooms—the pink room, the blue room, and the yellow room—welcome you, each with an en-suite bathroom. 1 fully equipped kitchen, a dining room from where you can see the terrace through antique stained glass windows, and a large comfortable living room. A laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen for laundry, drying, and ironing.
Most guests enjoy relaxing in the living room or on the terrace to enjoy the spectacular views and sunsets.
The large, flowered, manicured garden invites you to daydream and walk down the old stone steps to wander the alleys or feed the fish waiting for you in the lily pond.
Guest access
Enter through the large red door at 69 rue Dovalle, continue to the end of the entrance hall to go up to the first floor by a superb 15th-century facing staircase.

This mansion will seduce you from the moment you arrive with its charm and full of history.
The Space
A superb entrance hall gives you access to this cozy studio. A warm living/dining room and equipped kitchen welcome you. The romantic room is separate, allowing another two people to sleep on the sofa bed. The bathroom toilet is equipped with a shower. The living room opens onto the private cobblestone terrace and small flower garden.
Settle in at the garden table or rest on the lounge chair to enjoy nature and calm.

The entrance hall gives access to two completely self-contained apartments. Remparts I is on the right at the end of the lobby.
